PS at MK before park opens

I posted this on the resaurant forum, but maybe it should be here


We have a PS at the Crystal Palace for 8:30 on a non-magic hour day. If we get there at 8:00, will they let us into the park? If so, will we be allowed to walk around or will there be CMs hurrying us over to the Crystal Palace? I really DON'T want to stand out at the park entrance for a half hour, but I don't want to cut it too close either. Any experiences you have had with PS's before the park opens would be appreciated! Thanks!

You will be let in after verifying your PS number, so be sure to have that with you. You'll be able to walk up Main Street to Crystal Palace at that time, but you'll pretty much be directed straight to your breakfast. No rides or attractions are operational at that hour, and the end of Main Street will be roped off, so you won't have any place to go anyway!

Plus, even if you show up at 8am, there will be other people there with the same PS time. By the time you check-in, get through the turnstiles, and walk up Main Street to the CP, you're not going to have much of that extra 30 minutes left.
