Ok, I would like some advice from you fellow DISers...I just made PS for 7:50 am (ugh I am NOT a morning person) for Chef Mickey's and I would like to hear the recommendations on how we should travel to CR..should we drive or catch the bus....PLUS what park would you recommend going to afterwards my PS is for a Monday!

7:50 shouldn't pose any problems. You should be able to just get a bus to MK, then walk over to CM's. They tend to frown on your leaving your car at Contemporary for a meal and then leaving it while you to to a park. So, if you decide to drive, you might want to leave your car at the TTC.
When we have done an early PS at CM's we take the resort bus over to MK, walk to breakfast (it takes about 8 minutes) or you can take the monorail from MK if you don't want to walk. CR is the next stop. Then we go back over to MK for the morning. Or you could take the monorail from CR to TTC and transfer to the Epcot line and go there after breakfast.

If you are staying at a Disney hotel, take the bus to the MK & walk or hop on the monorail to the Contemporary.

You can drive, but that seems like more of a hassel.

To be honest, what I would do is catch a cab at my hotel to the Contemporary. From any of the Disney hotels it would only be a couple of bucks. That way you dont have to rush or stress about leaving the resort with enough time.

As for what park to do afterwards... Well you are righ there, I would do the MK!
