PS and Cinderella's Royal Table(not breakfast)

We wanted to go to lunch at Cinderella's Royal Table as early as possible. I was hoping for 11:30 or 12:00. It will be an extra magic hour morning so we thought we could get some attractions in, eat lunch, go back to the resort to swim and nap and then return later.

The only PS time I could get was 2:35. I'm thinking I really don't want to stay in the park that long. We will be so hot and tired by then. I've tried calling a few times, but nothing earlier is available.
I'm not interested in doing dinner or breakfast.

Finally, here is my question. Do you HAVE to have PS for CRT at lunch? I thought I might try checking in earlier and seeing if they would seat us. I don't want to give up my PS because we'll use it if we can't get in earlier. Has anyone had any experience trying to eat there at lunch without a PS?

LOVE this place for lunch & dinner. I would keep checking to see if an earlier time opens up. The first seating (I believe) is at 11:30am. I would also see if there is another day you can try.

If you have no luck before you leave, then I would try when you arrive. You may get lucky!

Hi.. we were turned away at lunch time...

There were lots of people milling about and it was starting to rain - I thought I would give it a chance.

The ladies just looked up at me from the kiosk like I had two heads - and just shook their heads "no" like I should know better.

Properly admonished we headed to Columbia Harbour House and it was the worst meal I ever had - is the worst enviornment possible.

Keep trying for cancellations for CRT - or maybe try the Plaza Restaurant, Liberty Tree Tavern or Crystal Palace - you could make a reservation at one of these places for the time you really want - and keep trying for CRT in the meantime.
