Providing DME with flight details?

I booked a package a few days ago with Disney UK, over the phone. :hyper: This will be our first time staying on property and hence the first time we have used the Magical Express. I added the Disney's Magical Express to the booking but at that stage I had not booked my flights (and the agent did not ask for the flight details).

Now that I have my flights booked, am I supposed to provide the details to Disney? If so, is there a website to do this or a special number I have to call? (I can't find anything on the Disney UK site, and can't get onto the Disney US site). Or am I supposed to I wait until they send through the luggage tags etc.?

Thanks for your help!

would contact disney uk and ask for it to be added on your booking. You have to pre book DME
You have to give them your flight info and names of tavelers both to and from airport
Once booked yelow tags and transfer voucher usaly come 10 days prior to departure
Personly we dont use the yelow tags as we find it better to take luggage with us to bus, rather than waiting 3 hours for it to get to room
The yelow tags are ok if your flight is early in mornning ,have an overnight bag in carry on luggage so you go to parks and when back there in room.
But as most uk flights are arriving in the evenning it makes sence to take them with you
If you have conecting flights you,and are using tags you have to pick up bags then put the tags on on last conection into mco
Dont worry it tags dont arive,as long as you have booked it they just need your confermation number

just a quick one if you use DME to transfer you back to the airport can you choose what time bus you catch there, or do they do that for you according on your flight times ???? Also if you do the virgin dtd check-in is it right that they can tell you if there are any delays with your flight etc ???

cheers

You have to get the bus 4 hours before your flight time for international flights.

4 hOURS :scared: thats really early isnt it !!!

Was only playing on getting to the airport about two hours before flight as we were going to use DTD Virgin check in desks first !!

Is that def right 4 hours before ?

cheers guys....:thumbsup2

yes, its 4 hours to give you an hour to get to the airport as the advise is to be at the airport 3hours before for an international flight. They won't let you go any earlier as I phoned and asked.

It looks as though yellow tags will be athing of the past for us UK DME bods. According to AllEars DME will now only send documentation to US & Canada addresses! It doesn't expand any further, so not sure what the rest of us do - guess it is a case of wait & see!

I never got them in the past anyway!:confused3

I booked our DME seats this morning via the US WDW website.

The reply email confirmed that luggage tags are only sent to US/Canada addresses. But it seems that the luggage tags are not that essential as detailed in the statement below:

Thank you for using Disney's Magical Express! The Disney's Magical Express Airport Transportation Booklet will be mailed approximately 45 days prior to arrival at WALT DISNEY WORLD Resort. If this request was submitted within 10 days of arrival we cannot guarantee that the booklet will be mailed in time. In the event that you do not receive your Disney's Magical Express booklet with luggage tags, here's what you will do upon arrival into Orlando. Take the airport tram to the main Terminal and proceed directly to the Disney Welcome Center which is located on the B side of the airport on Level 1 (Ground Transportation). If you arrive on the A side, please proceed to the B side before taking the escalator or elevator down to level 1. There will be Disney representatives located on Level 2 on both the A and B sides of the airport to assist you with directions to the Disney Welcome Center. At the Welcome Center, you will receive all the necessary information for your transportation.
