I know the wrestling is way cool, but I am so extremely proud of the academic achievement. If you do well in sports, you can get a trophy to show off. It is much harder to show off your academic skills without being a "know-it-all".

Give your son a huge bear hug from me. I think both accomplishments are amazing!!

It is all so cool, but you are right...wrestling may help him get into acertain school and maybe help pay for that school, but his brain will get him a job someday!!!

As a high school teacher and a coach of a wrestling coach, congradulations. This is an amazing thing to happen to your son (academic and sports related).

I will share my wrestling news here as well....DH team has had 97 straight wins. They are hoping the end the season with 99 with the current head coach (DH is the assistant).

Wow...that is awesome! Tell them good luck!!!! The wrestling camp DS's team goes to in the summer is in NJ and there was at least one team from Delaware there...wonder if it was anywhere near you?

More then likely yes. The town I live in (Smyrna) is all about wrestling we mitt have others bu those boys are amazing

I was St. Mark's....asked DS when he came home from practice!! Do you know the school?

Boy do I know school the high school wrestled them tonight and lost 31 to 34. Not came down to the last match and the score was 9 to 8. Talk about a close match. But our students were amazing with the support they give eah other win or lose
