I just wanted to share my good news with those who would appreciate it -- After years of renting, I finally made up my mind: I called my guide today and took the plunge. So it's official!! I can now call Saratoga Springs my new home!! Woo Hoo!

I put down he $500.00 initial payment today. Now I play the waiting game. I hope this process doesn't take too long. I am really nervous about it Does anyone have any ides how long it takes to get your approval? Thank you. ... Marianne

Approval is pretty quick (I'm thinking it was a week or so). Getting the official membership cards takes a little longer though (We're still waiting for ours about a month after submitting the paperwork). However, until then the temp cards they supplied will do just fine, which is great because I have to call real soon for our next vacation

Some helpful hints that will help you enjoy having bought into DVC.

A. Every year look up the CASH cost of the room your not paying for anymore

B. After 20 miles of walking the parks ( LOL ) think of the folks that DON'T have a in room whirlpool tub to relax in

C. Just try to e-mail a buddy from a moderate resort


Hopeing that DVC works out to be as pleasureable for you as it has been for us
