Just had a Facebook message from DS who is currently in the USA. When he left for America in May he had no idea where, of even IF he was going to study next term, having had a disastrous year at Oxford Brookes.

Despite this he got 2xBs and 1xC in his end of year exams - which he had convinced himself he would fail :rolleyes1

He contacted several Unis last week while over ther and had an interview over the phone with University of East Anglia today and they have offered him a 2nd year place starting at the end of September banana::banana::banana::banana: :dance3::dance3::dance3:

I am soooo proud of him, both for continuing his studies after such a disastrous year and getting of his b*m to sort out a place.

Look out for us on the way to yet another uni at the end of Sept!

I remember you stressing over this a while ago. So glad that it's all come to a happy resolution! :thumbsup2

Thanks Martin AND all of you for you support. :)

It is such a relief knowing he's happy to, and is actually going to, continue with his studies, because I know he'll be pleased he did in the end - us mothers always know best :rotfl:

He'll be back in a couple of weeks so I'm really looking forward to having him home for a week or so, and then i'll be really happy to drive him to Norwich too!!!
