Both my DDs have sat GCSEs early - Rea, who is in Yr 9, sat Biology, Physics and French 2 years early and Sian, Yr 10, sat Biology, Physics and Statistics a year early.

They're both away at the moment so their results came in the post 1st class today. I called them and asked if they wanted me to open them which, obviously, they did.

They both did brilliantly :cool1:

Rea got:

Physics - D
Biology - B
French - Level 3 (Highest level possible)

Sian got:

Physics - B
Biology - B
Statistics - B

I am so proud of them both - they haven't had the easiest upbringing (those of you who know the background will understand) but, despite everything they've been through they've done fantastically well. I think we will be having some serious treats when they both get home :thumbsup2

Well done to both of your DD's. My dd got hers yesterday so we are off to Manchester to get her stuff for college before enrolling this afternoon.

Congratulations to everyone. My son Alex also got his yesterday and passed all eleven with 4xA, 5xB and 2xC. The C grades were in Frence and Spanish which were a pleasant surprise as he thought he wouldn't do so well.

I would have posted something yesterday but we leave for Gatwick this afternoon so not much time.
