Yes she did well. An A,5B's, 5C's and a half. She did 3 early ones and i think that is where the half comes in.
We have been to Manchester today to buy all her dance gear ready for college on the 2nd Sept. Dh is still picking himself up off the floor as it cost him £250.
Well done Joh's girls and everyone else great results especially when you're taking them early!!
I made the huge sacrifice of coming home from holiday so my DD could go into school with her friends to get hers. She did really well ~ 4 x A, 4 x B and 3 x C.
I got so cross when I heard the media yet again start saying the exams are too easy. I saw how hard my DD and her friends worked for their GCSEs, even giving up their Easter holidays to go into school for revision sessions.
Congratulations to everyone and good luck for your future!!
Congratulations to your DD's Joh, and to everybody else whose children have done well
I was part of the first year to do GCSE's and it seems like no time ago - I can't imagine how I'll feel for my girls when they do theirs....a few years to wait yet though.
