Proud Moment to Share

I'm so excited I could just burst! My ds just got his first law school acceptance to one of his top picks - Villanova. We were worried because we had trouble getting his transcript from his semester abroad in London and his applications weren't in as early as he would have liked. But alls well that ends well.

I'm so proud I could burst. Kevin had cancer when he was three and not only lost his leg but almost died from the chemo. He is such a fighter and he never felt sorry for himself or wanted to be treated differently. I could just cry when I think of that little boy learning to walk all over again. He really grew up into such a nice person and has worked so hard towards his goals. I'm probably rambling but I feel so happy for him.
