Hello :goodvibes I've narrowed it down to 2 nights at the end of our Disney trip in August. Please tell me why you love one hotel, or the other. What would you recommend (14 yo son and myself!) I will be staying club level whichever hotel I choose. Trying to get a feel for which one will be the best!
Thanks

We have been staying at HRH for years now. Our kids were in their teens when we started staying there and they love this hotel. HRH is the closest to the two parks (you can be in the Studio park in about 5-10 min). Your son would probably enjoy all the rock things that are all over the hotel. The pool is really nice and even has an underwater speaker system so you can still hear the music. The rooms are large and really nice. The room has a Kuerig coffee maker for your use. We like the fact that there is a sink in the bathroom and also a vanity just outside for extra space when getting ready. We are already booked for our return trip in Aug. We actually do the opposite of you, we start there and end at Disney. Our kids are now in their 20s and they still insist on taking the family vacation to Universal/Disney each summer. We are now up to two rooms at HRH. As I said we love this place and have no complaints at all.

We stayed at both HRH and PBH this past summer and for next summer have decided to stay at PBH. You really can't go wrong at either, but we like the more laid back atmosphere at PBH. HRH is more "busy". The pool at HRH is great but PBH , minus the underwater music, is just as good. (Really, How much time do you spend underwater? your swimming, not scuba diving.) Rooms at PBH are a little larger and bathroom is huge! Also, a longer walk to parking lot/garage at PBH but not a big deal to us. PBH is also longer walk to the parks but water taxi is available. Again, Both are great, Just personal preference on some things would be the difference. BTY, you can pool hop from one hotel to the other if you'd like. Hope this helps. Have Fun!
