We've been planning to visit the world this year in the fall, to catch Food & Wine and the Halloween party. We're considering timing things so we can catch one of the last Halloween parties and one of the first Christmas parties.
I know some of you have done this before and I'm wondering what you thought about it? Good idea? Glad you did? Tips? I hope you'll share your wisdom and experiences!

(I should probably point out we're a Disney family and visit as much as possible. We've been to both parties. We definitely like Halloween better, but those Christmas fireworks are awesome. We also would enjoy watching the change from fall to Christmas. I'm not usually a Christmas fan, but when I can do it in Florida in my shorts and tshirts, I like it a lot better.)

(thanks)

The only con it's a separate priced ticket..

MNSSHP is halloween in MK. villians/characters that aren't normally out, a different parade and fireworks, halloween ambiance, halloween dressed street performers. trick or treating in magic kingdom is something that sticks with you.

MVMCP is basically the same but xmas/fall holiday themed, xmas parade, cookies being handed out..

We really enjoy both so we're going to be at both this year. It does help with the feeling of the season.

Hah! Yes, we definitely talked about that con!
But good too know there are other people who think it's a good idea!

The only con is the time period you've picked has become extraordinarily busy the last few years. LOTS of people would like to catch the last MNSSHP, F&W and the first MVMCP (and Osborne Lights until they were retired last year). You are also there for the Wine and Dine half marathon and (to a lesser-extent crowd-wise) Jersey Week.

As long as you're not expecting low crowds, you'll be golden. Have fun planning!

I have misplaced the links showing when each date was sold out in 2015. Can someone help ?
