About the Tapestry of Dreams parade...I dunno if n e one heard the song, but in what language are they singing? I think its swahili. Can anyone confirm this ?

I have no idea, but if i find out..you'll be the first to know.

i dunno but i think it is something on the lines on swahli

Actually, I don't think it's any language. I think I read somewhere that they created a language specifically for that parade. I could be wrong though:rolleyes:

I have the song and when i go down there i will ask... but i am really thinking it is african...

I think it is African because 1 i have sang some african songs before and it kinda sounds the same... and 2 if you look at the puppets they look kinda african. You know the whole masked people thing!

I am trying to go through the words in my head... wella wella daye wellie daya o wella day.... and it repeats that

Yeh its been established that its of african origin, but what language? Theres madd different african languages, im convinced its Swahili. But what does it translate to !?!?!!?!?!

:smooth:

Ok if you need to know in the near furture i will ask someone tonight! ok... he will mostlikely have to check but i will try

Update!

I just spoke to 3 different people who claim to work in ToD.. They all said the same thing - > that "its a nonsense language made up to confuse people" :(

Ok My question was what does the song mean and this is what i got back....
"absolutly nothing .. it was done that way so that it would not offend any persons race, creed, or religion"

That is your answer it is all made up Disney lanuage!

wow, disapointing and yet interesting...............................

I dont think it is disapointting at all i think its awesome! not like it is a hrad song but thay made it sound like it was a dead launage or something! that is so awesoem that disney could do that!

:o Blahh i think it sucks that it doesnt really mean something. Big let down :(

The one thing that i can say to that is... that is what you get for knowing "disney magic"

I am really not trying to be mean but what i said is true!
