Proposal Question

During fireworks is nice. But there are so many beautiful secluded places like the beach along yacht and beach club resort. Is there any particular place that has significant meaning?

I think we had this exact thread like two weeks ago or so. I will again vote for a proposal during Wishes on the Grand1 yacht. It doesn't get any better at Disneyworld.:thumbsup2

My DFiance proposed to me in December at the wishing well behind the castle. My kids were there and it was just perfect!

If you want a public display ect...any thing that disney does that allows guest participation..if you will let a CM know, they will be happy to set it up. EX..I heard about a proposal at the hoopty-doo review. They pull people up on stage to be part of the show..you can propose and make it part of the show. If you want something a bit more private, then you cant beat proposing right infront of the castle during wishes..or something fun, take her to monsters inc laugh floor (they ask that you text jokes but you can text them that you want to propose, make sure that you talk to the CM before hand)..or to turtle talk with crush and have them be part of it and help you with it. Just some ideas. My favorite place is at Sea Breeze Point at the Boardwalk. We are renewing our vows there this sept. It is quiet and very pretty..and you could possibly have your wedding where you proposed...Good luck!!

My DF proposed to me this past Oct on the observation deck at the California Grill right after wishes. It was very romantic and since he is very shy we were by ourselves so it was perfect. Anywhere at Disney that means something to you will be special. Good Luck.

My DH proposed after we ate at Victoria and Alberts. We were walking on the path back to the Poly at night and he proposed near the wedding chapel. Though it was very special, I don't reccomend this because the monorail can (and did) run directly overhead which can ruin the mood. Victoria and Alberts can integrate the proposal into your meal, bring the ring out "for dessert" under a silver dome.
In my opinion, nothing could be more romantic that a proposal on the beach of the Poly during Wishes. Secluded, romantic, beautiful.

Being a single woman I would have to say, from leas to fave:
1.) In front of Cinderalla Castle
2.) On my favorite Disney Ride
3.) Between During the Fireworks show Wishes and eating at Cinderalla Castle
:lovestruc

If I had a choice, I'd want to be proposed to either during Wishes! or before the Beauty and the Beast show since it's my favorite. :lovestruc

But it all depends on the personality. If you want it more personal, maybe a fancy dinner or Cinderella's Castle. If you want something in front of EVERYONE, then probably before her favorite show at Disney or fireworks. And talk to a CM. They'll definetly make it an experience you'll never forget! :thumbsup2

Thanks so much for your input! This is for a friend of mine who wanted some expert female advice. I don't think that he has ever been to Disney, so really any place will be amazing! Thanks again girls! :goodvibes

Well, I'm proposing to my DP this coming Monday, on a beach at Disney, during the fireworks. The plan is, to send her off for drinks, while I scout out a perfect spot. I'll then write in the sand, "Christy, voresti spossamri?" Which is Italian for, "Christy, will you marry me" Of course she won't know what it means, she just loves Italian. All this follows a surprise dinner at Victoria & Alberts.
