I was doing my 2007 taxes and I entered my DVC morgage interest and all of that stuff, but I was wondering if there was any discernable property tax that we pay that is also tax deductable?

I assume probably not, but I wanted to see what you DVC veterans have been doing... :)

Yes we pay property taxes as part of the annual dues. You may also be able to deduct those property taxes. The actual property taxes for 2007 will be noted on your 2008 statement you received in January.

Yeah, what the PP said. Disney doesn't send out a separate notice. It's sort of buried in the statement. I have 150 BWV points and my property taxes were around $150 if I remember correctly.

If you don't have your dues statement handy, the property tax info is also available on the members' website on the Dues Statement page.

Are these FL property taxes or property taxes in our home state? (Hopefully this is not a dumb question)!

You should be careful regarding this. Some states will not allow you to deduct these because it is a second residence property tax, and with it basically residing outside of your state of residence, unless you live in SC or FL, it can get tricky.

It would still be deductible on the Federal return as would all true personal property tax.
