proof of time

I plan on running a 10k and using it as proof of time for the Wine and Dine Half Marathon. Run The Hook is a timed 10k race in New Jersey. Does this race count as proof of time? Does any timed race count? I'm new to running and not sure what I should be looking for in the race I choose.

10K is the shortest distance for the half POT. You just need to make sure that they post their results online, so you can submit the URL.

Run the Hook definitely has online results so it is a fine choice for proof of time. As stated above any timed race of a 10k or longer works so long as the results are available online.
