Anyone ever been asked for proof of their child's age? I never even thought about this with my boys, but my ds 2 1/2 is quite large and extremely verbal for her age. I figure I'll take along a copy of her bc just in case.

I would like to know this, also. My DD is going to be 9 when we go in October and she's very tall, making her look 11 or 12...should I bring the birth cert. just in case?

No, if they are questioning it, they will just ask the child.

It wouldn't hurt to have a copy handy. From what I've read on here, they do ask the child if they have any doubts.

You don't need proof of age. We went with my 2 year old who was about to turn 3 in a week and was not asked once. He's not huge for his age but he definitely looked like he was 3.

we took my DD the week before her 3rd b-day. She wasn't/isn't large for her age, but is very verbal. If asked her answer at the time would most likely have been "5". :rotfl: We took a copy of her B.C. but we were never asked.

We were never asked last year and our 5 year old is very tall for his age and looks about 7 or 8.

We've never been asked, perhaps it's their policy to give you the benefit of the doubt.
