With all the price increases starting at age 12 do they check I.D or something to prove your child is 11.

It use to be that at 10, they are considered full price. I worked at the disney store thru college and 3-9 was the kids age at that point. You may want to double check. With the kids, I never really had anyone ask about going from kids to adult, but on the under 3 bit, we use to suggest that they bring a birth cert, just in case. I never heard of disney turning anyone away (and making them pay because they looked over 2)..but I'd always rather be safe then sorry.

I'm sure the OP isn't planning to lie, but just for the information of anyone whose kids' ages are "flexible"...the cleverest people selling admissions tickets just casually ask the child how old he/she is, before the parent even buys the tickets. Unless the child has been very carefully coached to lie, they naturally respond with the right age.

Or even better, they ask what grade you are in school. If you're in kindergarten, you're not under 3. :)

No I dont plan on lying. My daughter is 11 however as many other girls these days she is already developing and looks alot older than she is.

MMDRMMBL,

That can be rough. You're right that it seems like a lot of girls are developing younger and younger.

As others have posted, the ticket price changes at age 10, so you'll be going with the adult ticket anyway.

That will be the hard one to be truthful on for me! My middle child will be 12 for our trip and she barely finishes half of a kids' meal! At the Mickey's Kitchen dinner buffet last year (at DLR) she ate about 2 chicken nuggets, a small slice of PBJ pizza and a small spoonful of chocolate pudding...can't wait to pay $20+ for that!

because my children look older than they are (9yo dd has a size 9 women's foot, is 5 feet tall, and needs a sports bra) i carry copies of their birth certs for places like this, just in case...

If she's the Jr/Child's age for the buffet's then she is-- I wouldn't worry about people asking for proof. I figure if you aren't lying, then you have nothing to hide. I also, think when you aren't lying you are confident in your answer and nobody questions it anyhow.

We recently went to a drive-in where under 12 was free. DS is really only 11. Anyhow, when they asked how old he was--- I stumbled and stuttered. I'm sure they thought I was fudging his age-- which I truly wasn't. Anyhow, they didn't ask for proof either. Not many people carry kids birth certificates with them.
