I was disappointed in the Webcast, didnt show enough of the resort.

It would have been great to see more of the facilities.

Had thought about adding, but incentives were not enough to attract us.

We own at BLT and will stick with that for now.

I was disappointed that they did not have more for new members. I got the link from my sister to signup but I was not aware of this being a member only event. I had left a message with my guide asking for info before hand but he does not call me back for anything. For AKV it was $12 off per point.

Wasnt worth it for me to add on there. Left the event disapointed.

I was very disappointed in what they actually showed of the resort. The room shown was only the model, and basic lobby and exterior entrance shots/views that were easily seen before the construction ever began. I was hoping for more in the way of actual addition shots or footage - at least of the pool area, transition from the lobby to the new wing, maybe a grand villa or the new viewing platform... something, anything that I haven't already seen in person. I've seen much better photos on a thread or two on here, and much more info over on DVCnews. Oh well.

The hosts were pretty bland too, except for the awful Deevy See. I didn't care for her in the BLT preview video and I didn't care for her last night in this presentation. And I wasn't all that excited about the incentives. I was hoping for something on the smaller side. Starting at 125 didn't do anything for us, except keeping us from spending more money.

We were disappointed as well. We have a 100-point add on in the works and were waiting to sign the documents until we heard these incentives. Ours are much better (since there are none for 100 points ). We figured we had a great deal already, so we weren't "expecting" better incentives. Still, we hoped to see some of the actual resort - the GRAND OPENING of it. I didn't like that they toyed about the ribbon cutting. I was then expecting to see the ceremony and felt disappointed. We've already been to and seen the hotel and the models. Oh well. Guess we'll have to wait until we get back to CA in person.

Someone mentioned a $12 discount for new members purchasing AKV after the webcast. Is there an additional discount for current members wanting to purchase AKV? Thanks.

My guide called yesterday to follow up and confirmed that these prices were good through Oct 3. He also e-mailed me a price list that shows a $15 credit per point for a 50 pt purchase. -- Suzanne
