Promotions for May 2011

Does anyone know if there are usually any promotions for may?

We have always booked with a promo like buy 3 days get 2 for free, but for other months (august, sep & oct).

Also, does DLR offer special packages for Magical Gatherings?

Any input on this will be appreciated.

We bought our airfare already, surprised the kids with a May 2011 trip. I'm also waiting for a promotion like the "buy 3, get 2 free" deal that they had last year. We are going the end of May, and will be in Southern Cal. until the 10th of June. As far as "Magical Gatherings" that is a WDW thing, they don't offer it as far as I know for DL, sorry! ;(

We are also plannig on going in May and hope there are some sort of promotions. If I hear anything I will post and I'll keep track of this thread in case others have info.

Magical Gathering, no not like WDW. But they do group picnics, but I think you need a couple hundred people, from what I've heard about them it was huge groups. Like local companies or big weddings that used them.


Deals? DLR has an average visit of 1 day. If you know what standard deviations are and how to use them, you'll understand that the second most common visit is 2 days long. So Disney usually markets deals to stay longer than 1 or 2 days. Even as Disey Parks cut discounts I think some kind of longer stay promotion will exist at DLR wether it is for rooms or tickets.

We're going in May and are waiting to buy our park tickets until we see if something amazing comes out. We'll be there for 6 days, so a buy 4, get 2 would be lovely. Our hotel is already booked through DVC, so we hope the deals can be used for tickets only, not just packages.
