Promotional backpack question

We recently returned from WDW, where I saw a lot of people with cool black backpacks with multiple, brightly-colored Mickey silhouettes all over them. I looked on eBay and people want $120-150 for these!!!! So my question is...weren't these like $10 with a certain dollar amount purchase at some point? How old are they? Do I have any hope of ever finding one for a reasonable price? I did not like the current design so I didn't buy one while there...but I also saw that one on eBay for $35. It was $9.95 with a $75 purchase, I believe.

Sorry. I just saw that they are sold out. Vans has a Mickey backpack but it isn't the same one.

Yeah, sold out. I got on their wait list but I'm not gonna hold my breath. I've been on their wait list for another item for months.
