Promote your Everest Ride Competition Thread

Hi all!

I have seen various fellow Dis Members mentioning their teams in various threads, but figured it may be nice to have one thread where we can all promote our team rides.

Here is what I am thinking. Limit your post to one per team and list the following:

- Team Name
- Base Camp Room (Starting point you will see come Friday)
- Team Members
- Any interesting details about your ride that will help promote getting visits from your fellow Dis Members.

Unfortunately I don't have all of the official details for the team I am on handy, but I will make sure I get out post in here shortly.

Can't wait to go riding this weekend and best of luck to all of you as I know that setting up these rides and rooms takes a lot of hard work and many more credits!

Well, due to all the off topic (ahem) posts cluttering up the main
page, there's a discussion currently on page 2 about having a sneak peak
ride-through for all teams willing to participate.

I think it's a fabulous idea, and my team leader has already posted in that
thread, so maybe we will!

BriarLori, thanks for the heads up on the other thread. I read through that and figured I would make the decision to keep this seperate as I know that not all teams are ready yet with their rides and may not want to spill the beans on some of their ride secrets before the weekend.

Obviously no one is forced into responding to this post, and I am with you on preventing clutter, but just wanted to give everyone, those who will give previews and those who won't the opportunity to post to one spot.

All right Not, we were thinking a like I am sitting here trying to figure out the best way to determine out of a hundred rides or more and limited time with manning base camp how to find good rides and promote and I looked at the other thread and did not think it was right for this now so you started the thread and I will post the details then.
-Team Name: The Yeti Experience
-Base Camp Name: Base Camp: The Yeti Experience
-Team Members: all Dis or Dis kids -> Jumangi, NotaZoo, Irishhockey, Adventuredaz, Disgal, Astryd, Vexer, Friedgreentomatoes, Littlebelle, Mainstreetlad, Iluvsplash, Stevieb

- We have put together a very nice ride we think (with possitive feedback so far) Using many Mansion credits and many hours of work on and off VMK The ride is about 7 minutes long following the story of pirates wrecking at the base of everest and follows thier quest for the Yeti up the mountain and back down. We have hands down the best Yeti (Thank you NotaZoo) Don't forget the gift shop at the end and be sure to hang onto you hat and your shorts as you ride. We tried to make it easy to re-enter if you fall off.
