I was getting ready to checkout with a refurbished ipod touch in my cart and it asked if I had a Promo code, so I am going to ask here if anyone has one? Thank you!

What about going through some cash-back site - ebates, bing, fatwallet, gottadeal... you'd have to register, but you could see FIRST if apple.com is among the stores for which you can get money back.

the problem is if she waits it may go out of stock again. It was out and just came back in today

Apple does do cashback programs if that helps. I got 5% cashback thru discover card's shop online program. I think there are other programs that offer rebates for them as well.
