Prom Dresses

I hate that the store Deb went out of business for prom dresses.

That makes two of us! DD is going to the prom for the first time this year and I can't believe the dress prices! We have a few more places to check out that may give us some less costly options, however, I'm not too optimistic at this point. The one she really likes is $600, plus another $65 for moving the straps in a bit and cutting down the length (fits well otherwise). And because of the style of the dress, it could be altered down again to a cocktail length dress, so I feel a little better about it.

Around here we had to get our dresses from bridal shops. The plus side is they can order them to fit - maybe check into that.

I just wanted to give everyone a little update. I purchased this dress (in this color) from a place called Dress V. I read lots of positive reviews for the place and we won't need the dress for another 6 weeks so I'm confident it will get to us in time. We ordered it custom made and it came to less than $120 delivered. I'll let you know how it fits when it gets here!
