Project Runway Season 9 Starts July 28th!

Yay! I love Anya (though I think this is Viktor's for the win). I don't get Kimberly's style at all.

:thumbsup2 Its never been so obvious before on Project Runway;)

I don't know...to me, it was pretty obvious Mondo was going to win last year (was it last year?) and we know how that went. I do hope Victor wins, he is my favorite, but I don't think it's a done deal.

I have to say, if the same things happens an it seems they have pre-picked who they want to win, I am finished. To screw up one year and pick someone who really didn't deserve to win, fine. But if they do it two years in a row, I'm done watching.

That is exactly how I feel.

For me it's three strikes time. First strike: when that heinous bully Jeffrey won.* Second strike: When that heinous bully Gretchen won -- and her clothes sucked. Third strike: if Anya or Josh wins. Anya is not a designer yet and Josh is a hideous excuse for a human being with no design skills whatsoever.

*I wrote a complaint email to Bravo at the time of Jeffrey's season in re his treatment of another designer's mother and in particular the way he denigrated her due to her weight. I was shocked when Andy Cohen himself emailed me back and we had an email conversation about their responsibilities as programmers in that regard. I remember it quite distinctly because his disgust with Jeffrey was abundantly clear.

No..it can't be true...if their comments are any indication, it's clear who the winner is..augh. This show died when it moved to Lifetime.

You. Have. Got. To. Be. Kidding. Me.

I'll watch All-Stars but I can't stand what Lifetime has done to this show...

i'll watch All Stars, but otherwise, I'm done. and i'm only watching that to see the old designers and because the judges are different.

this season was a complete joke. it's become more of a Lifetime movie than a show about design and talent.

and seriously, the person who came in third? THIRD?? should've won.

Careful. We said the same thing about Mondo... (who will be in the upcoming Project Runway All Stars :thumbsup2) only to have the judges fooled by Gretchen...

And you were right, lol! :lmao:

I guess whoever I think will win (like with this year and previously with Mondo, etc.) will actually end up as a runner up, lol. Oh well. And I really thought between the two of them, that the one would win over the other (trying not to spoil). I felt the person that won had outfits that were incredibly similar and repetitive, although the fabrics were different and very pretty.

That's it. I will watch the All Stars, but I'm done. Are they now voting for the designer for which they fell the most sorry?:confused3 I don't get it.

:sad2::sad2::sad2:OMG

WORSE ENDING EVER

:scared1::sad2:

I agree. Her collection was a joke. It was ready to wear you could find at JC Pennys. :sad2: No jackets, no pants, no shorts. Plain simple pieces that she sewed in a couple of hours each.

Victor should have won.

You guys just don't know what is stylin': ;)

I have to say, both Anya's and Josh's collections - his less than hers - were reminiscent of Uli's from the Jeffrey season (3? 4?). I thought neither of them would win for that reason and with most of the same judges. Yet they ended up being the top two :confused3; I guess I don't know 'fashion' :rotfl:!

I guarantee they gave them the extra $500 so Anya could fix her collection
She sewed 3-4 pieces in that 2 days and i will bet NONE of them were hemmed-and we saw her SEWING A DRESS ON A MODEL:sad2:

I'm done-this show is an insult to the people who go to school for this and, to quote Joshua- can set a sleeve;)

Okay. I'm not defending the decision - I still think Bert should have won (okay, okay, fine - Viktor!) - but it's Project Runway, not Project Sewing. Unless the rules require sewing ability, that's not grounds to eliminate/disqualify someone. Yeah. I know. Try telling that to the designers eliminated for not hemming... ;).

Nothing interesting about Anya's DESIGNS-all low v-necked and flowing-it was all about the prints she chose

I actually was leaning towards Joshua last night-he had some very inovative materials/designs (and I hated him at the beginning-so there!;) )

I like Viktor's collection the best. I agree there was too much sheer, but I still thought it should have won. I'm glad Joshua didn't win though. In fact as long as Joshua didn't win, I'm fine with the outcome.

I knew this was going to happen after last week's episode when the judges decided to keep all 4 for the finale. :headache: Anya is definitely a less talented version of Ulli.
