Project Runway Season 9 Starts July 28th!

I didn't think 'cheerleader' about Anthony Ryan's dress, but I also didn't think winner. What did disappoint me is that he delivered exactly what the client wanted, yet ended up in the bottom three.

Olivier can't leave soon enough for me. Aside from his ridiculous attitude, he can't stick with one single accent through one entire episode! Argh! I've seen Bert's dress before - I think on Gail Simmons on Top Chef?

I really thought Viktor would've won. :confused3 Oh well, all 3 were good, IMO.

Oliver is such an odd bird. Did anyone catch when someone (I think Josh) said something to him about he must be so relieved that he made it through (in the middle) because he knows he was freaking out. And Oliver, was just said something like, "Huh, I wasn't worried . . ??" He definitely doesn't have the social skills to be a top designer.

This bothers me too! And really he's from Columbus, Ohio!! I don't care that you went to college in London. You do not pick up an accent that fast!

That little outfit Viktor made for that lawyer lady was freaking adorable. How crazy was it that she showed up to their first meeting wearing almost the exact skirt he was making?

I'm totally impressed with Anya. I didn't love last night's dress, but dang, that girl can sew. I wonder how much exaggerating was done when she told everyone she "just" learned how to sew. Anyway, I love how every week she makes something kind of amazing. I also loved poor Olivier (I call him that, like Laurence Olivier. Pretentious little freak) looking so baffled about bewbs. And Tim Gunn: "Well, I know it's a bra size. Not that I have any personal experience with that or anything.".:happytv:<--me

I hated Anya's dress. I thought it was horribly ugly and I would never in a million years wear it.

Josh's dress was adorable! Its like what DH would describe that I would wear.

Loved Victor's and I really thought he would win!

Oliver will never make it as a designer if he can't work with clients, BUT those clients were really freaking annoying!

I've liked a lot of what Anya has done. Last night's dress certainly wasn't my taste, but I could see where it had "fashion" written all over it, and was different.

Unlike Josh's, which was ordinary. It was fine, but ordinary.

I wouldn't wear Victor's, but I thought it was quite unique & absolutely suited his client. IMO this was the winning look.

Olivier was just disturbing to me last night. It started when he was complaining about the men being fat. They weren't all svelte by any means, but I also didn't think any of them were obese either. I really was creeped out by his reaction to his client's physique and opinions. The couple was absolutely annoying, but I don't think it's outrageous to ask that the pants not insist on continuous wedgie status. I just felt he has no respect & definitely no empathy for anyone, period. Too cold-blooded to me.

:rotfl2: My Runway friends and I at work say this exact same thing-such a phony!:worship:

I think Josh's dress was the nicest thing made this season. I think I had a skirt similar to Viktor's when I was in HS in the 80s.

I thought the dress was cute. Kimberly's was butt ugly. Anya's looked better without the sleeve. I didn't find her or Josh's orginal. Victor's was OK. Again, nothing I haven't seen before. Especially since the lady wore nearly the same skirt to the fitting.

The pink dress was the right one to leave. It was pretty bad. The pockets at the bottom were a cute idea, just not excuted well. Maybe if the dress didn't have the bottom band, it it was flowy, the pockets would have been sudtle.

I think the final four will be victor, Anya, Josh and Burt...and I think burt will knock out one of the favorites and make it to the finals.

Have you noticed how Oliver's "accent" changes? Its like he can't remember which one to use!

Bert wasn't at the bottom, and I don't disagree with who went home!!!

What is with all those whiny kids hating on Bert so much? Why do they think, just because he doesn't see eye to eye with one or another of them, that he's automatically wrong and they're right (tnight, Laura claiming she wasn't going to help Bert when, really, she probably could have benefitted from his help)?

Boy , they really like Anya-I have never seen someone woth ripped seams not given the boot on PR before

:thumbsup2 TO The Winner

Great outfit! It wouldn't surprise me at all to see that person win :).

Another thumbs down for Laura - she was so critical of that outfit. Guess she doesn't know much about fashion after all ;)

SO SO GLAD THAT OLIVER WENT HOME!

I don't understand why Joshua bedazzles everything.

I really liked Victor's look!

Me too! He is not a nice person at all. I know that the others are catty & witchy but Oliver is cold hearted he dosent even relize the stuff he says is just wrong, he has no people skills.

So Oliver only wants to design for ... mannequins? Really? Last week we learned he doesn't like women and now this week apparently he doesn't like men either. Such a wierdo.

And I like Bert. I think the others write him off because he's old. I kind of enjoy his cynical humor.

Josh is such a diva and just a shade tacky.

Glad to see Oliver go, I don't think he had any strong designs, and his people skills, well he just didn't have any.

I'm glad Michael liked the way some of the pants fit in back, but I wasn't impressed with almost any of the fit in front - and most of the designers are men, I don't care who they normally design for!

Most of those jeans were baggy in the crotch, and Josh's zipper was poorly done. And not new. Thirty years ago, my best friend had jeans (okay, from Frederick's ;)) that zipped from front to back.

:lmao: He is going to have a very limited clientele if he can't design for regular people with normal bodies. :lmao:

I loved Viktor's jacket. :thumbsup2
