Leeanne's clothes were beautiful. I'm not sure they would have looked good on me, but I didn't care. They were so beautifully crafted.

Korto's collection was attractive, but the finish...that one dress was so long it looked like the model was going to trip. I LOVEDlovedloved her first dress - gorgeous! And that green dress was wonderful as well. One thing I noticed is that the drsigners didn't seem to design colors for skin-tones all that well. Some of the outfits...if they'd been on a darker/lighter/blonde/brunette they could have been stunning. Do the designers know ahead of time which models will be wearing which dress? Again she stuck with that odd grey/silver palette for an outfit. Ugh.

I thought Kenley's stuff looked like she'd raided the "Dynasty" costume warehouse. And her understanding of clothing history...very very sad. I'm not sure she even knew who Balinciaga is/was. It's like the American Idol contestants who think the 2007 remake is the original...when the original was actually done in the '60s or before.

And who did the hippy(as in padded hips) dress? Didn't Leeanne do that already this season?

The designers know that they will have their regualr model from the season, but they select their remaining models in the days before the runway show, so they can't really desing around a model's skin tone or hair color. They can attempt to make appropriate choices fromt he moels provided, but (1) they are also "competing" with the other 2 designers for those models so thre is no guarantee they will get the ones they really want, and (2) there may not be a model among the coices that really fits the typ they designed for [e.g., made a dress perfect for an a-cup, slim hipped platinum blonde, but there are only a-cup slim hipped brunettes or women of color OR busty, wides blondes]

I was happy Leeann won. I liked her collection best. I liked a few pieces of each of the other's, but I can't recall anything in the Leeanimal's line that I thought was bad or too derivative.

Kenley is such a witch. That is all.

Let me just say, I was THRILLED when Tim came out as a guest judge. I could just feel how happy he was to be given that position for once!!

In his blog, he always has said how he sits back and watches the judges and doesn't always agree with what they say. He had his moment in the sun! (Though, it doesn't seem to me that he spoke up very much...of course, that could be all in the editing)

I'm very happy for Leanne. She deserved it! I will say I agree with the judges a bit that the petals were repetitive...when I watched her collection myself I even commented that there were petals on EVERYTHING and wondered if there would be a piece lacking them, but I saw not a one.
Still, she deserved the win.

That's why I quit watching Survivor. It wasn't the people who actually knew how to survive in the wild, it was the people who knew how to get by and backstab. Too much like the real work world for my viewing taste. Poop floats.

I hope anyone but Kenley wins.

Survivor isn't about surviving in the wild; it's about surviving personalities as much as anything...outwit, outlast, outplay.

I would have been happy with any of last night's designers winning. I like Korto's collection better. I thought Leanne's was beautifully crafted, but the same thing repeated over and over. And I like Kenley and her collection...I think she's a character, but she does have a lot to learn about editing her remarks.

I thought this was the most boring season of contestants. Blaine and Stella were supposed to be two of the entertaining designers they focused on, but they were just dull. Leanne and Korto were snoozers, personalilty-wise, altho I loved seeing Korto at home...she looked great, I loved the drumming, and her daughter is precious!

Why oh why did they have Kenley talking so much last night? Her voice is grating. I ended up muting her every time!

I am so glad Leann won. I would kill to have that turquoise gown that her regular model wore.

Oh, and I almost forgot - can Leanne PLEASE use some of her winnings to buy some damn shampoo and a hair brush?????? She looked like a freakin' hobo in some of the confessionals last night.

I mean we know she washes it because we've seen her combng it out after its washed on the show. I think the problem is that she lets it air dry instead of blowdrying it. Thats exactly what mibne does if I let it airdry. Which is why I never do! LOL!

I really liked her collection but I think I might have liked Korto's better.

I am so glad Leanne won! Her collection was the most cohesive. As for the pedals/rusching, that always seemed to be her signature style. She likes to design adding in that textural element. I thought it was silly for the designers to bring it up for the very first time, when she had been doing it all season.

I am too! I think they should always make Tim a permanent judge at the end. Why bring in someone completely new, who doesn't understand fashion, to make the biggest decision.

On Top Chef, Tom Collicio (sp?) mentors in the kitchen & still judges. They purposely do not bring in some guest judge in the end because they have said it is such an important decision.

And sorry, I just thought it was a lame excuse J.Lo had for not being there. But I;m glad Tim got to judge because of it

Ugh! I've thought that all season. One episode, she was talking to a hair stylist in the Tresemme Salon, making a swirling motion around her own head, to show how she wanted the models hair done. I thought they should have grabbed Leanne and threw her in a chair for a makeover of her own.

And she wears ugly glasses too. It's like she's saying, "I can be mousy, plain & ugly, and have no personal style or self-care because I put all my focus into my beautiful clothes instead."

I agree. Leanne's collection was pretty but you're right it was the same thing done in the same colors over and over. I was actually surprised that she won. As much as I didn't like Kenley, I did like her clothes.
Project Runway is my all time favorite reality show but this season just didn't cut it for me.

I did love Kenley's reaction when she heard Tim was the fourth judge. I think she said "Great! Maybe I should have adjusted my attitude!" She knew. She knew exactly what people thought of her.

However, I was even more pleased when Kenley got auf'd first... justice, sweeeeet justice!

Wasn't that the best when Kenley got the boot?! I cheered! I couldn't stand her. I was just glad that either Leanne or Koto were going to be the winner at that point. It was good that they sent Kenley and her sour attitude home. I just couldn't believe how throughout the show she was being so disrespectful to Tim.

Last night was a real eye-opener how that can make the previews of a show seem very different from what happens.
Previews showing one crying in bathroom-comment about stealing a design and Timm "very upset"-led me to think they got rid of a designer for cheating.

(Which actually happened in Season 1 or 2 BTW)
