Mine is tangentially inauguration related. In honor of the inauguration, Legal Sea Food was offering their amazing clam chowder for 44 cents, so a friend and I went to lunch. We commented on how it was kind of cool that we were eating the same thing that the new president was! (Legal's has served their clam chowder at every inauguration since Ronald Reagan.)

I used a collage of 6 photos from my tv. It looks pretty grainy, but I don't mind. It was what I was looking at at the time.

By the way - I am watching the coverage on ABC, and they are using the music from Illuminations as the music to play out and in before and after the commercials. Did anyone else notice that? What a little treat! Disney and politics is not a typical mix!

So sorry to hear about the little accident.. hope everyone is alright!!!

My husband and daughter are ok. I took the brunt of the hit. Ended up fracturing my pelvic bone, lots of bruising and swelling. Only time can heal it. Maybe today's pic will be my nasty bump/bruise or the side of the car all dented in.

I can't be more thankful my daughter's car seat was on the other side of the car!

we've missed you!

MIL is doing ok at the moment. I think we put the fear of God in her when we told her she had to eat of die. Can't get anymore clear then that right? She's still not up to 100% of all of her meals but at least she is getting out of bed to eat and eating something of every meal. The ups and downs are very stressful on me though. One minute I'm preparing to bury her and the next minute she's yelling at me because I didn't buy pajamas she wanted. Hello, you weren't going to need then where you were heading!
Now I have sick kidlets, 1 has pink eye, one has headaches and back spasms, the other has a cough like no other. When does it end???? I've been sick too, I had sinus pain so bad my teeth hurt!
I miss you guys too!!! I've been reading when I can but I'm also in a cleaning frenzy so I've been trying to run with it, ya know.

Don't forget to get DD a new seat and cut the straps on the old seat so no one will use it. Submit the cost of a new seat to the insurance company too.

Maybe a pic of both, with the bruises hidden in a file folder or lib pocket so you have it, but not "exposed" ( not my idea, it was a suggestion for my "zombie eye " pics)
