What did you take a picture of today?? :goodvibes

*******************************************

Today is my Dad's 89th birthday so the POTD will be the birthday boy! :thumbsup2 After a month of rain, rain and MORE rain, for right now it is a beautiful blue skies and sunshine day so the family cookout and birthday party at our house will go on!

Happy 4th everyone - stay safe!

Jill

My plan is take a photo of the activities at the pool today. However, it may turn out to be a photo of me crying since my 3 yr old has turned into a tantrum throwing beast that I no longer have any control over. He is currently sleeping so I hope that helps -- we were supposed to go to some
4th of July games that the Knights of Columbus is hosting but he flipped out when I asked him to come to me to get sunblock on -- tossed his toy across the room, screamed at me, hit me... it is like he has been possessed:sad2: I guess he misses daddy:confused3

Sorry for your son's behavior... I remember that age as being very difficult with both my kids. I swear that dd10 woke up with pms on her 3rd birthday! Everyone talks about the "terrible twos" but they were nothing compared to the 3's - which I called - "two - with an attitude!".

Hang in there - I found 4 to be much better....but there are bumps at all ages. Ds is 14 and we are in the middle of the teenage years...and dd is 10 and can be oh so moody!

Enjoy your peace and quiet when you can - and remember to document it all. When I read journal entries from when my kids were younger I can hardly believe we survived it all..

Thanks for the encouragement. We survived the day. 3.5 hour nap and he is already in bed for the night. I got my photo of the kids at the pool.

My photo was of DH and the kids just after we saw a movie!!!

Fireworks were a no go here at our house due to the rain... :(
