Professional Photographer at Resorts Question

We are looking to take professional photos at our next stay @ Beach Club Resort. I checked with Disney and they no longer offer this service outside of the parks. So I am asking my friends here if there have any recommendations on local photographers.

It’s been a few years but we had Randy Chapman come to Beach Club to take senior pictures for our son. We were pleased and I thought he was very affordable.

We've gotten family photos with Johanna Oakes twice now, once at the Boardwalk/Beach Club, and once at the Grand. Both times the photos turned out amazing, and Johanna was great to work with. I have two young boys, and she was great with them.

Is taking professional photos allowed in a Disney resort? I was thinking of hiring a photographer for our upcoming stay at CSR since my husband and I never got real wedding photos. I’ve been under the impression wedding attire isn’t allowed. Would it be ok if we wore attire that doesn’t look like wedding attire? Thank you!

We’ve done it twice now, and neither time it’s been an issue. Our photographer mentioned that Disney got strict about photos in the park, but the resorts it’s fine. I’m not sure if they’d have an issue with the wedding attire or not though. Maybe ask the photographer what they think?
