I've accepted a Management Internship and I just got a benefits packet in the mail. I didn't think PI/MIs qualified, but on the off chance...do we???

I got a Benefits packet this week as well. But I've been getting mail from the Disney Benefits office since I went seasonal after my first CP in 2006. I usually just ignore them. I'm thinking the answer is a no. I would think that they'd make it more clear in PI interviews and emails if we were offered any type of benefits. Or maybe we have some insurance program buying options? I'm gonna go look at my packet and see.

and i got a benefits package after starting as a campus rep a while back. . .and I to ignored it

MI's might what is in your benefits package. I accepted a PI and haven't gotten any benefits package.

I've also been getting benefits packages since I started my role as a campus rep. I just threw it away because I knew I didn't qualify. One of my BFFs is a current MI and he doesn't receive benefits. I think they just automagically send it to everyone.

I started getting the package this year as well. I also recieved an e-mail that I should attend the benefits class (it's held once every month). The e-mail stated I had just become eligible!

Well, we do not get any medical/pension/etc... but I vaugly remember there is something that we can invest in. I'm sorry I don't have details, like the rest of you I just put it on my shelf. I should know in two weeks if I'm full-time so I'll pull it down then and let you know if I do find anything for interns!!

As a MI you are technically considered a CT status, meaning you're seasonal. Which would not make you eligible for any benefits. I used to work with cast member's SAP files and every MI I assisted were all CTs.
