I have my first job interview in 15 years. I will be wearing a dark colored pantsuit and dark colored shoes. Do I wear flesh colored stockings with the shoes? DD says that nylons are out but I also have winter white feet!

Black dress socks work, you can find them in pretty thin materials.

Yeah... I haven't seen anyone wear pantyhose in awhile. (Though I'm sure people do, I just haven't noticed it lately)

can you see your feet with the pants? I have some shoes that are more open than others and you can, but usually you can only see the tips of my shoes with my pants suit

I would agree that thin (like a nylon) dark socks would be what I would wear

Good luck at your interview!! :goodvibes

I work in D.C. and most people wear pantyhose unless it's really warm.

You don't say what your shoe is like (sandal, dress pump, etc.) but if it is a sandal then no hose. If it is a dress pump then you should wear darker hose but VERY sheer. If you have a heavy, clunky, closed-toed shoe then it is fine to wear a pair of "trouser socks."

ETA: This is a job interview--always go with something covering your legs. You *may* be too formal but you can't go wrong with that on an interview.
