Products you've loved and lost

My mom and I both LOVE Bath & Body Works Toasted Hazelnut. Its been out of production for years. :sad1:

So many things by Bath & Body works! I just found out that they're discontinuing all their shampoos and conditioners. Boy, does that tick me off-I've been using their stuff for years. And I still haven't forgiven them for discontinuing Tangerine Spice many years ago.
I can think of 2 cereals I can no longer find. One was by Kellogs-Raisin Squares. The other, I don't know who made it, but it had dried blueberries and almonds in it

I miss Revlon Colorstay Mascara Extra Thick Lashes. It was the best. You could be stuck in the pouring rain and it would still be there. It wouldn't flake off, you could sleep with it on and no raccoon eyes in the morning. I haven't found a mascara that compared to this one. I would sell my soul to have them put this back on the market.

Is it possible to be in love with a mascara? :lovestruc :lovestruc

I actually called Revlon about this and they said, "Sorry it's no longer available". I actually cried. :sad2: :sad2: :sad2:

Orange Blossom - Le Couvent Des Minimes

It was a body perfume/splash that smelled SOOOOOOO good. Bath n Body Works used to sell it once a year or so. I haven't seen it so long, and I only have a few drops left. :(

It smells like what I assume orange blossoms really smell like. It is soft orange but with a floral , fresh scent. NOT a fakey candyish orange scent.

It was my fave go-to perfume for a long while because every time I smell it, I think of Florida and WDW. :cloud9:

Oh, I love that stuff! I still have about a fifth of a bottle of lotion left. :guilty:

Corinne Cobson's Lavender Shower Gel. I swear I was addicted to it. It smells so good and made my skin so soft. I haven't been able to find any in years and I really miss it.

I miss the old Dimetapp or Triaminic that had the decongestant phenylpropanolamine (I'm sure I'm spelling that incorrectly). When I get a cold I get such a stuffy nose that I can't sleep, and I remember that I could take that kind of medicine and my nose would magically unplug in 20 minutes every single time!

It was recalled and I've never found another cold remedy that helps my stuffy nose like that did. :sad1:

My DH swears by Dimetapp, the "old" kind. It has Bromphenamine or something in it. Well, children's dimetapp still has that "recipe" You have to drink a lot of it to get the adult dose, but he swears it's the only thing that works. Might work for you?!

I've learned not to get attached to any of Pond's products. If it's a moisturizer I love that does wonders for my skin , it's bound to be discontinued. Right now, it's their microderm abrasion scrub. I picked up a jar at a close-out place like Big Lots. I loved it so much, I went back and bought about a 2 years supply as, sure enough, checking Pond's website, it was there because it was discontinued. :sad1:

Forgot to add: Cover Girl Marathon Mascara. That stuff was waterproof like nobody's business.

:thumbsup2 Hands down, was the BESt waterproof mascara. Didn't smudge, flake, do wacky things. I even slept in it. That stuff was bomb proof. I always said there could be an atomic bomb explosion and all that would be left would be my eyelashes coated with the Marathon Mascara. That's how much it lasted.

This always happens when I fall in love with a Victoria Secret's bra :sad1:

::yes:: :sad1:

I miss Revlon Colorstay Mascara Extra Thick Lashes.
Whew! :faint: I thought you are going to say Revlon's Colorstay eyeliner. That stuff goes on, gives a short time to smudge, blend & soften it in, then sets like a Sharpie permanent marker and doesn't come off until you wash it off. :thumbsup2 And I have oily lids. Nothing else stays on them or my eyelashes except the Colorstay eyeliner. :magnify:

Reynold's plastic wrap with the sliding cutter. I hate Saran Wrap (or any generic form of it) and I really don't like that sticky Glad stuff. I used to be able to find it at the local grocery after the supercenters quit carrying it, now they've quit carrying it also.

I too, loved the sliding cutter but can't find it anymore either

Oh my goodness YES!!! Cody Sweet Earth Perfumes. It was this little compact with three "woodsy" type creme perfumes. It was soooo popular in the 70's when I was a teen! What I wouldn't give to smell them again :lovestruc it would give me an instant flashback ...:flower3:

There is this company that sells a knock off. I don't know how good they are.

Gadorade X Factor Fruit Punch + Berry. I bought the last 4 walmart had back in January and they actually expired that month. The Renyolds wrap vaccum seal bags. They suckered me into buying the vaccum, then discontinued the bags. The old Chicken patties from Schwan's. They have new ones that are seasoned and are not as good. We finished them around Christmas of 2008. I am sure there is more but that is all I can think of for now.

Lay's LIGHT barbeque potato chips with Olean. It was always hard to find but I would buy every bag on the shelf and store them. Now I can't find them anywhere.

Also, Weight Watchers Chocolate fudge sundae cups - called the company and they no longer make them.

Obviously I worry about the important things, junk food!:rotfl2:

Those cookies that had a vanilla soft cookie bottom, topped with a marshmallow dome and rainbow sprinkles

Little Debbies make them, I can't remember what they are called but I just bought some a couple weeks ago.

We totally miss Hershey's Kissables. We can't find them anywhere anymore around us. DD has a peanut allergy and can't eat M&Ms. Kissables were the closest thing to them and were safe for her to eat.

I miss Swiss Cheese crackers :(

I think they were from Nabisco & they were my traditional travel food. I always bought a box whenever I went to vacation or camping. They were so yummy, but sadly they discontinued.

Too many discontinued Bath and Body Works products, most missed: Imagine Happiness perfume- I absolutely loved it; I got more compliments on this perfume than any other I've worn. Absolute Tulip- so pretty. Merry Mistletoe- best Christmas Scent ever. And there was a lip gloss they carried ages ago, a perfect sheer pink and not sticky at all (Ok, and this is probably a tad strange, but I still have the empty tube since I loved it so much)

Twinings Tastes of Summer Tea- don't get me started on this

Rachel's Yogurt- One day Publix stopped carrying it, and I can't find it anywhere else. I loved the flavors.

Kashi Frozen Waffles- Ok so these aren't discontined, but I miss them terribly. Eggo isn't the same and Van's :scared:
