Funny story... we used to use absorbine jr for mosquito bites when I was younger. Last summer I had a couple that were driving me nuts and I said I wish I had some absorbine jr, why don't they make it anymore. My aust said she could still find it in MA so I googled it. Apparently it is now sold with the icy hot for body aches... i never knew that! I happily used it for my bites that summer, but I mourn all the years I could have used it had I known!

It's a ubiquitous Canadian Christmas treat. This particular recipe doesn't call for Bugles but tons of people use them, as well as a uniquely Canadian cereal called Shreddies, which I'm sure you've never heard of.
