Sucrets. What happend to these? They were the best for sore throats.

Sucrets are still around (in Canada anyways) I always get them for sore throats

Found my Dunkaroos! They weren't as good as I remember. I think I will stick to graham crackers and frosting if I need that kind of fix.

So here I am today, at Walmart, helping my DD move into her apartment for college and what am I looking for? Mrs. Grass Chicken Noodle Soup with the Golden Nugget. Of course, they didn't have it.

corn flakes with the freeze dried strawberries (& blue berrie) from the 60's.

they make all sorts of cereals nowadays with the strawberries, but NOT the corn flakes

Sometime at the end of last year/beginning of this year they came out with a Cheddar BBQ Cheetos that was amazingly good. I guess it was a limited run or didn't do well enough and now NONE of the stores have them. I have checked almost every store in town. Amazon doesn't even have them. You can usually find hard to find food stuffs on Amazon.

Funny how some are finding their "missing" item and it's not quite the same. I was all excited last year when I got a box of Boo Berry and Count Chocula, which I used to eat as a kid and then they discontinued them until last year. Now they make my tongue numb.

I have been looking EVERYWHERE..I have a friend in NY checking their Tops and Wegmans, I had a DIS who had found some in PA not long ago check yesterday at her Giant store..she says it's no longer in that store either..for some reason, it's disappeared all of a sudden..I have emailed the company but no response yet


I love this thread..bringing back a lot of memories from childhood and teenage years with some of these products!

Back in the mid-80s we lived on Ice Teasers...it was like a fruit flavored instant iced tea that you mixed up similar to Crystal Light. My mom ALWAYS had a pitcher made up in the fridge!

I also miss Bar None, my favorite candybar of the 80s.

For those looking for European candy...try World Market. Ours has a huge selection of candies and foods from England, Germany, Japan and other countries. Actually, my neighborhood Publix not too long ago unveiled an entire little British section with a lot of those same foods.

I miss Outragous shampoo by Revlon, it smelled sooooo good. Also OM perfume by the Gap. Waaahhhh, I miss that perfume, I got sooo many compliments whenever I wore it!

Also, does anyone remember the Clearly Canadian drinks? They were sold at 7 11 back in the 90's. They had a cool clear shaped bottle and came in flavors like cherry, lime and grape. It was a flavored seltzer I guess. I loved those!

We have it here in central Kentucky. In fact, I was sick a little while ago and sent DH out to get me some. He either would have gone to Kroger or Walmart, not sure which. I'm pretty sure I've bought it at Kroger, though.

I miss Loves Fresh Lemon body spray. Used to wear it as a teen. They dc'd for some reason, continued their Loves Baby Soft but didn't like that fragrance. I'm really fussy and can't wear many perfumes or fragrances and loved that light fresh lemony scent.

In my country we had Strawberry Rice Krispies that came in this Big pink box, delicious stuff.

One day they were simply gone Never ever found them again.

Took me forever to rmemeber this product. Years ago there was a cereal that was a cookie, (Cookie Crisp) they had chocolate chip and a vanilla cookie, I always got the vanilla cookie one.

The commerical showed a wolf always trying to get the box of cereal away from the kids (ala Lucky Charms). The stores around here stopped carring the vanilla cook, but kept the chocolate chip for a while, now they don't even carry the chocolate chip anymore.
