Don't know if these have been mentioned...

Wacky Wafers. These were my favorite candy as a kids. They were made by Willy Wonka and I loved them!

Sucrets. What happend to these? They were the best for sore throats.

OK, what is that thing? :rotfl2:

It's a sprinkler...of sorts.

There is a hose hookup at the back of the head. Water sprays up through the top of the head lifting the hat. As the water lifts the hat, more water sprays out in a fan-type motion at the top of the hat.

It was tricky getting the hat to go up. Sometimes it went too high and would fall off on its own. BUT...when you found the sweet spot (as high as it could go without falling off) my kids would then run through the water (between the head and the hat) and try to get through without the hat falling off.

Good times.

Does anyone know of any Target store that still carries Market Pantry Parmesan and Rosemary Popcorn? I have looked in IL (Chicagoland area and near western suburbs) and even as far as Orlando, FL (when we were there in June). It just disappeared!!:confused3

where do i begin?!!!

Jello 1-2-3
Good Humor Coconut Ice Cream on a Stick
Cheracol D (the one with codeine in it...)
Chun King (or was it La Choy?) frozen mini shrimp egg rolls
Boxed Pizza Mix (you got the sauce, parmesan and dough)
Toaster Pizza (frozen, round, heated in a toaster)
TV Dinners in aluminum trays (pre-microwave)
Vicks cough syrup (also with codeine - nice warm feeling down the throat...)
Space Food Sticks
Baseball cards with sticks of gum inside
Jeno's Pizza Rolls (they tasted better/different in the 70s)
Hereford Cow alcoholic pre-mixed creamy drink (came in little milk bottles)

(i'm sure i'll think of more...)

I read several pages but not all, so I may be repeating someone else, but:

Reynolds came out with Handivac freezer storage bags that went with a little battery-powered pump that sucked all the extra air out through a little port in the upper corner of the bag. They were awesome for buying big family packs of meat and dividing them up to freeze, because then none of your meat ended up freezer burned. I LOVED THEM! Now you can't find the stupid things anywhere, and I am assuming they were discontinued. I'm really annoyed. I have this useless pump sitting around, and my meat is getting freezer burned. My mother gave me a Food Saver, but I hate the stupid thing, the bag rolls are expensive and half the time it doesn't seal right for me anyhow. Grrrr.

ETA: Sobe Dragon. Love the stuff, can't find it anywhere in Washington. I have found it in Oregon since it disappeared from shelves in Washington, but I don't know if that means they still make it or just that stores in Oregon had lots more back-stock. LOL

YUM...Wacky Wafers! I had forgotten about those!

How about:
- PB Max Candy Bars (they were square shaped)
- Those GIANT Oreos
- Tangy Taffy (NOT Laffy Taffy)
- Hubba Bubba Soda

I'm all about vintage foods! :)

When I was pg with my son I sent my poor husband all over the known universe (okay not really, but he pretty well covered the county) looking for Bottle Caps. Turns out they are only available at Halloween now. Too bad my son was a summer baby. I love those things.

Loved Jello 1-2-3 and the caramel space food sticks.

Boxed Pizza Mix - do you mean the Appian Way box? We used to make that every Sunday. I *think* I saw it somewhere a few months ago, so I think they still make it.

Corinne Cobson's Lavendar Glycerin Shower Gel. LOVED that stuff, but the website I used to buy it from is not available in the US anymore and I can't find it anywhere else.

I have more vintage foods:

- The ORIGINAL fruit roll-ups, not that waxy, sugary crap they try to pass off as fruit rollups these days.
- Along those same lines, Fun Fruits and Fruit Wrinkles

These were all the lunchbox items of my childhood!

TV Dinners in aluminum trays (pre-microwave)

I remember thinking those aluminum tray TV dinners were so wonderful! Coupled with a Disney movie at 7pm on Sunday night, I was in heaven!

Do you mean the Chef Boyardee pizzas in a box? I have one in my pantry! While the pepperoni ones have become difficult to find, I can find the cheese ones quite easily here in FL.
These? http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0..._m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_r=0M2JETSXAYNYE4E86SDY

If I were into exchanges, I might be tempted to trade boxed pizza for Quisp...:lmao:

Walmart has them for .98! :cool1: I got my weekly box today in fact! They are in a bin with other 98 cent candy boxes. I Loooooove those-the box is right here next to my laptop as I type

I am pretty sure that Target as them as well. My beloved Wacky Wafers are, however, no where to be found. :sad1:
