Products to keep you cool while in the parks...Update 5/28 post 32

They stay cool for quite some time. As long as the gel is activated it will be cool. It took ours about a week for the gel to totally dry. We used ours going through the Panama Canal last year and they lasted the entire time we were out and we just rewet them to be on the safe side before going out the next day.

:cool1: Woohoo! I just got my "Cool Downz" from QVC and I'm gonna be trying them out this weekend!

I just ordered 2 POUNDS of Polyacrylamide Crystals from Watersorb for $15 including shipping! It's a not for profit company that also sells the crystals for use in planting to conserve water.

Anyhow, if you're crafty, it would be extremely easy to make these ties for yourself and all your friends! $15 worth of crystals is enough to make about 200 cool ties!!

All you need to do is provide the pre-washed cotton fabric which can be found very cheaply! I'm going to use Mickey Mouse, Disney Princess, and Tinkerbell fabrics to make some for our trip the first week of October. :teeth:

Dang, I should bring some to sell! (I'm thinkin' Disney might not be too happy about that, though! :lmao: )

:yay: I just got back from my local Walmart. I found the neck coolers in the sporting goods area. I found1 of the small O2 misting fans and 2 of the small Caribeaner fans with little lights. I am set for my trip.

:Pinkbounc  :bounce: Woo Hoo  :Pinkbounc :bounce: :yay:
