procrastinators unite-leaving in 9 days

leaving on Thursday night 6/16 after work driving from PA to disney. Have not started packing yet. Still in the process of cleaning house (lots of work to be done yet). Still have yet to ask my friend to check on house & watch cat. Still need to make appt for car to be looked over before we go. Still need to go to AAA to join. Have at least 3 loads of laudry to put away.

I really think I could go on for days with the list of things I have to do in the next 9 days. I have packed toiletries except few things like toothbrushes that have to wait till morning of. Have cleaned van out top to bottom. Have packing list, driving directions, list of hotels for 6/17 in GA or FL for day prior to check in. Need to get all disney info ready & pack my back pack for parks.
Need to send post card to post office to stop mail & call newspaper to stop that too. I need to make a list of souviners/people I need to buy for when there. Need to to check my snacks etc, probably have to buy a few more. Have bought all toiletries. I have some bills to mail out before I leave. Need to deposit change in bank for trip.

I have to get moving. Anyone in same boat as me?? I think I am running to AAA on my lunch hour tomorrow or Wed. If I call garage tomorrow morning they can probably see van thurs or friday. I have stuff to do after work tomorrow (dd has soccer) & wed I have to take her to a viola lesson. Thurs night is free but Friday we have a picnic to go to. Will I ever get to the bottom of this all. Friday at lunch I will probably take change to bank. Sat & Sun I will have to finish house mostly & pack the clothes & back pack.

I just want to start driving and get this trip on the road but I'm no wheres near ready.

I'm right there with you!! We're leaving on the 16th too and are driving. I have yet to pack anything! I probably won't even really begin until the weekend. I've got two fairly big orders to get finished for my business first. The back of my Suburban is FULL of stuff that I'll need to get cleaned out over the weekend as well. I have scheduled taking all three pets for boarding. Oldest DD is wanting to get her hair cut before we go and the little colored rubber bands on her braces changed out too (just the thing I need to add to the to-do list). Youngest DD has a broken arm and I take her to the doctor this Wed. to get the pins taken out of her elbow and a shorter cast on. I really need to shop for a couple more pair of shorts for the trip too! I've had all the parts of our trip planned for quite a while now. The panick is starting to set in for getting it all together here! I wish I could wave a magic wand to get the house clean!!

9 days! We're leaving tomorrow and I don't have anything packed! My 13yo DD is *hopefully* arriving home at noon from Washington DC school trip. The regular run of summer flight cancellations and delays have started.

I do have a list of things to throw in the suitcase, and the house is clean.

We also leave next week (flying out the 17th) and I am not packed yet. I am going to the shore this weekend too, for a bachelorette party! We are taking family along for the first time as well, so there is a lot to coordinate. I really have to buckle down tonight and start getting things together. I have been picking up things from WalMart weekly, and have all that stuff stashed away in a bag, so I don't think it will be too bad. But, I am not nearly as put together as in prior trips.......

Puffkin looks like you're from reading. We are from the Lehigh Valley not to awful far away.

We will be at Pop from 6/18 - 6/25. I forgot I bought tshirts and iron ons to make us shirts too. Thanks DIS boards another thing to do.

Well, I'm in the group of us leaving next week, we leave on Wednesday the 15th. I have packed and made tons of lists and I will repack again over the weekend. I'm compulsive. I start packing weeks in advance, but then spend the last minutes re-doing everything! I know it's a waste of time, but I can't help it - lol! I'll be looking for all the lime green!

luv2nascar- Yep, from Reading area, although we do venture out to the Lehigh Valley Mall quite a bit. Good luck with the drive, we have not had to do it yet (flying usually isn't too expensive for just the two of us), but I am sure we will once we have kids. We'll be at the CBR 17-18, and OKW 19-25. I will have my lime green ribbon on my bag.

Ummmm....I leave on Friday at 4am and have nothing packed. We are going with my parents and my Daddy will picking up our luggage Thursday evening. What am I doing now instead of packing. Reading about packing. My sister and I keep calling each other about how neither of us are packed. I just have my hubby to pack for, she has her hubby and 3 year old. We are the co-queens of procrastination. Go us!

We leave this Thursday night and I've been thinking about packing (& the million other things I still have to do). Actually, I'm excited about packing, but I just can't seem to get myself motivated enough to do it. I think maybe all the excitement is getting to me, like I can't get myself to believe that we leave so soon. I finally told DH that he had to help me or he would be wearing the same outfit for the entire time we are there!

My dust bunnies might take over before I return. My house has never been in such a state...don't care! Life is too short. It's taken me 19 years of marriage to come to terms with my OCD and cleaning. I'm a reformed clean-aholic Type A personality. My mom has said almost every time I talk with her..."I wish I had cleaned less and spent more time with you kids when you were younger." DH still says my house would win the clean contest on the block even in my reformed state.

We're leaving on the 14th and I am nowhere near being ready! I need to pack, get money, etc. Today was the last day of school for the kids but we still have two more days! That's two days I could use to get ready. I guess I'll be running around Monday evening trying to get everything ready.

We fly out early Sat morning and I'm still running around trying to tie up loose ends. I finally found some Crocs but after trying them on they were just too wide for my foot and I felt like they'd come off (length was okay though). Now I'm back to square one trying to find decent footwear. Still need to hit the Disney Store for my Disney dollars and I just know I've got a couple loads of laundry to do before I can pack on Friday since my kids don't have enough to wear to school this week and survive 10 days at WDW. Guess I'd better get busy on someof this stuff. See ya!

I'm not quite as bad as you are. We leave in 20 plus days and I just made all our meal reservations yesterday. Didn't have any problems getting to eat where we wanted to.

Count me in as one of the procrastinators. We fly out the morning of the 17th. I've thought a lot about packing, cleaning, shopping, etc... but haven't actually done any of it. I have lots of lists of the things that I need to do though. Oh, well. It all seems to work out in the end. Everyone have a good time!!

We are leaving July 3. We have done absolutely nothing. I was telling my DW that we may want to call and schedule Tiffany Towncar to pick us up.

We have room res. only because we are DVC members and did it at our 11 month window. We have are passes because we have a anual membership and that is it. No priority seatings, no schedule to follow, I guess we will be flying by the seat of our pants.
