Process Question

I am sure this is a question that has been asked, but I am not sure of the process and know with the knowledge on these boards someone can help. I am planning a trip for Spring Break (March 15-22), and have looked at resorts, ADR's and there are still a lot of options, so happy about that. I live in FL, and will be purchasing an AP. So my question is: At what point can I make FP+ reservations.

1. Make the reservation at the resort of my choice
2. Purchase my AP online.

When do I order the Magic Band and once I receive that, do I link my AP to it to be able to make the FP+ reservations. I know this only about 6 weeks out, so hoping I have time to get it all done.

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

1 & 2 can be done any time. (You can make meal "ADR" reservations as early s 180 days before check-in,
so earlier you make your resort reservations, the better.)

2. Order the AP as "Will Call" (pick up at WDW.)
Then, put your confirmation number into your MyDisneyExperience file when you se it up HERE.

You can make FP+ reservations as early as 60 days before check-in date.
MagicBands will be sent to you, but you can make FP+ reservations well before you get the bands.

You got it. Have a resort reservation and a valid ticket linked to your MDE account and you're good to go with making FP+ reservations.
