Procedure for dropping off guests at the TTC

Staying off property and dropping off guests at the TTC. When going through the MK gate do I just tell them I'm dropping off or picking up a family members? Will they then just let me just drive through staying to the right lanes like going to Fort Wilderness?

Can't believe no one has ever dropped one off before? Is it allowed or not?

Yes.

As you get to the Magic Kingdom parking toll gate, choose the second or third booth from the right. Tell the attendant you are dropping someone off (you may ask for directions).

Then thank the attendant (regardless of what he says) and drive on. Bear right at the big fork ahead. Take a left at the first interseciton with a light and an allowable left turn.

The next thing you come to will be the Ticket & Transportation Center (MK) drop off area.

If they are going immediately to MK proper it would save them some time if you went straight to the Contemporary Resort instead of left to the TTC to drop them off and they would walk to MK from there. Try to drop them off near the guard shack (10 minute walk), as opposed to well in at the front door or awning of the resort.
