I went to check my credit card, and it showed a $16 charge from this company, and I only signed up for the trial offer two days ago. I called the company immediately to cancel, but the agent said that she didn't show any charges, and they had never had a charge for $16 anyway. She is supposed to talk to her supervisor who is supposed to call me tomorrow. I was just wondering if this had happened to anyone else. I also haven't been credited for it by SR, but I know it's only been two days, so I'm trying to be patient. This is just really frustrating, and I don't know what to do :confused3 .

I just checked my credit card and no charge from NASCAR. I did the offer last Wednesday and have not gotten credit yet. But I have read where several here on the boards have gotten credit quickly. If they do not call you back this morning I would call my CC company and dispute the charge. I am wondering how long I should wait to contact SR about not getting the credit?

We just got a slew of these credits all at once! It looks like they must only give them to us once a week because I have been checking back a couple of times a day. We just got some Scholastic credits, Music ETC, Nascar, Kasamba, and Blockbuster. Huge numbers of credits!!

Tricia,
Nice to hear that! Maybe the Nascar credit will show soon! I signed up in 11/11/06 and still waiting. We trying to get as many as possible before next week ;)

Apparently the Music ETC offer was too good to be true. After a lot of people made a lot of money on it, the advertiser pulled it this afternoon. I am hoping that they do not pull NASCAR or Kasamba because those are really helping people to pile up credits for next week. :)

I hope not too- those really helped me rack up some bucks. I want them to work for other people too!

Although I am still watching my credit card regarding Music Etc; I wasn't able to cancel thru their link, so I emailed their customer service saying it didn't work and not to charge me anything more than the .99 fee. So far, I haven't even been charged that. :confused3

Yay! Nascar and Scholastic books (Nick Jr. one) paid today! I had doubts about the books since I'd done Scholastic Disney books but I guess it counted as a different club. YIPPEE!!!! I'm working very hard to have $75 by the end of the month. Almost there...

Sorry that Musicect pulled the offer, it really was fun! If the monthly charge had been just a bit lower we would have kept it for a month or two.

I did the Music Etc. offer on Monday afternoon and cancelled it yesterday morning. I still haven't gotten my credit, so does this mean since they pulled it I'm out of luck? :(

I also had problems with Music etc. I tried to use it and I couldn't get it to work. I couldn't get into the sight to cancel so I also sent them 2 emails to cancel but have not heard back. I'm hoping I don't get charged.

Still waiting for NASCAR offer to credit. :confused3 Signed up11/1106 hope it shows up soon.
I beleive there is a link you follow in the confirmation e-mail of the MusicETC. If you click on it you can cancel your membership. Were any of you ablwe to do so? That is how I cancelled it.

Learned something interesting about the NASCAR offer. It seems that some of the offers credit in real time and the credits can be pulled at any time. Others like NASCAR only send credits at a certain time. If you missed the chosen time you will have to wait for the next cycle of credits. So some may get a credit in a day but others will get their credits in a week.

UGH! I had my first 'oops' with Sunshine Rewards offers. I did the ebay trial that credited $9 back in October. I paid the $1.97 for the CDs and I am POSITIVE I cancelled it. But can I find the paper I wrote down my cancellation code on? No. That teaches me a lesson. I will save those for 2 billing cycles from now on....I was charged the $9.95 fee and there isn't much I can do about it, since I can't give the cust. service rep my cancellation code- and of course they didn't email it, because I do save those for 2 months. Shame on me, shame on me.

Now I am SUPER vigilant about the two outstanding free trials I have right now. I am just waiting for them to credit and then I'm on the phone to cancel!

Oh well, I am so way ahead of the game with the money I have racked up with Sunshine, I really can't complain to much. Just lesson learned about saving those cancellation codes! All the other companies have been so on the up and up- I have never had a problem with getting charged except for the $1 or so fee some of them require.

At least you got credit Alice. ;) I am still waiting for it to credit. However they have charged my CC for 45.95 and I did cancel in time but thankfully I have a copy of the cancellation e-mail. I am disputeing the charges though.
Hopefully everything will work out.

adisneynut- I am contemplating disputing the charge, because I swear the woman I spoke with this morning was the same woman I spoke with a week or two ago when I cancelled. And I remember the connection being the same, and having to ask her to repeat the cancellation number as she was breaking up. But I just don't know if I can't prove I cancelled it with the credit card company, if the charge will be reversed or not. :confused3 I don't think I've ever even disputed a charge before.

I have disputed a charge with my CC company and they were very helpful. You will have to send something in writing.

I have never had my credit card company to refuse me a credit. Just write a letter giving them the info they need and tell them you have called twice to cancel and sign the letter and leave it up to them. Do it soon because you have only 30-60 days to dispute a charge.

Have you all received your credit? I signed up on 11/11 and still nothing? :confused3

Thanks- I did it today. Might as well try. I would like to think that a credit card that I have had since '99 and have maintained excellent standing will credit me my $9.95.
