Problems with Online Dining Reservations

I have a friend who is using my points for a stay in May. We are within the reservation window for her entire stay. When I put in the reservation number from DVC with her name and date it says it isn't valid! Am I doing something wrong, does it not work with the DVC reservation number? I even tried it under my name and it won't work.

Anyone had this happen before and get a resolution? I will call Member Services later today and see what they say.

Thanks,

Kayla

Nope you're not doing anything wrong. The +10 function has not worked for DVC reservations on the online dining site since Oct. 26th. I've told them several times and all MS will say is, is that you can call and they will make the ADRs for you.

Another IT issue where DVC is having trouble accessing the rest of Disney's systems and programs.

I would double check the reservation and be sure the person's name you are putting in is listed as the lead guest.

That can cause it to say there is a problem. Good luck!

Dang. I had the same problem this morning. I don't have time to call MS today, so I guess I'll just have to hope that everything is still available tomorrow. :headache:

I am also having trouble booking for my trip that begins 5/31/2011. I am able to book the days within the 180 day mark but not for the full week.:sad1: I did call MS to book one of the ressies and she even had a problem booking for later in my stay:confused3

Same problem here today. To make it worse, I called MS and got a rude CM (first time this has ever happened for me). She asked for the earliest time (5pm) and latest time (6:30pm) we would accept for an ADR - and I got all 5:00, even tho I preferred 6:00. When I asked her to check for other times, she told me that what I had fell within the time window I had given her :headache:. And then she tried to tell me that character meals required payment in full if I hadn't booked the dining plan, which we plan to do in the future. I nicely told her I thought it only required a credit card guarantee, and she argued with me before putting me on hold, then she came back and told me exactly what I had told her. But no apology, of course.
