Problems with Disney Visa Reward Dollars?

Has anyone ordered these certificates for use at WDW, and received something else, instead? I recently ordered $240 of the WDW dollars - but got dollars for the Disney Store, instead.

I'm nearly positive I asked for them to be used at WDW ... I rarely go to the Disney Store.

But, if I can just use them to buy Disney Dollars - it won't matter. Does anyone know if that's possible?

You can check on the Budget Board for that answer.

I got mine no problem, and I specifically told them Walt Disney World.

You may also be able to return them for the correct reward.

so we need to designate where they will be used? How long do we have to spend them?
Oh my goodness! If I order them for our Nov cruise and the same thing happens that happened to us last year will they be no good?

I believe there are three options:

Reward dollars to be used at Disneyland

Reward dollars to be used at WDW/Disney Cruise Line

Reward cards to be used at the Disney Store, Disney Catalog and Disney Online.

We just ordered ours for our December vacation and I ordered them online and you need to check off which option you want. Got ours for WDW with no problem.

I was told you can't use reward dollars that are for the Disney Store to buy Disney Dollars. I have no way of knowing if I was told correct information or not.

I would call someone about sending them back and getting the reward that you originally requested. That's a lot of wasted money if you never shop at the Disney Store.

This is the 2nd time I've ordered the dollars - the first time they came in for WDW - no problem. I'm CERTAIN I asked for WDW dollars again, this time. I intend to buy my seasonal passes with these - so maybe I can buy them at the DS?
