Problems with DING!

Can anyone help me...i registered for the DING program and it installed itself with no problems on one computer. Now i went to install it on my other computer and when i go to hit the icon it tells me a communication error has occured? I reinstalled it several times and the same thing happens. Anyone else have this problem?

you probably need to get a new installation ID number. The Installation ID's time out after a while. The same thing happened to me, but after I got the new ID # it worked fine.

Try right clicking on the toolbar icon. You will see a menu containing..."Connect Now". Right click on it. I have to do it each time I start the computer.. Don't know why. Easlily solved by right clicking (read this in the Help section on Ding).

I do the same thing as Kleubanks. Every time I sign on I have to right click the wing and then hit connect now. It is no hassle at all.

Shelley, you see a wing in your toolbar?? I only got a red explanation mark. When i right click on that and click on connect now nothing happens...eerrghhh!!

Our router is dying so we generally have to reset it all the time. When this happens it takes about 5-10 minutes for Ding to reconnect on its own. We can tell it to connect now and it will work for us. You may want to reverify your internet connection and make sure it is still active.
