Problems trying to book AK value studio

Hello,

I was looking into booking the Animal Kingdom Jambo House value studio from Dec 11-14, but it says it's not available. It's available the 9-13, 10-13 and 12-14 but not 11-14. If those other combinations are available, that must mean the 11 12 & 13 all have availability. Does anyone know why this combination wouldn't work then? I will be there 9-14 but was hoping to save some money by staying at Caribbean beach for 2 nights first and then AK from 11-14. There are standard rooms available but the value studio with the kitchenette would be ideal for us. Thanks so much for any help you can give!

My guess would be that you're seeing availability in two different rooms...one available for dates 9-13, and the other available for the dates 12-14. That would explain why you're not able to book a single room for those dates.

I did just check, and it looks like all nights are available that you're looking for now @$435/night.

Are you looking under the current discount? As the pp said, a value studio is available for 11-14 at rack rate of $435/nt, but a Deluxe studio standard view is available for those dates with a discount for $408/nt. Not sure if that's an option for you as I don't know your budget (the deluxe is $60/nt more than value as value is $348/nt with discount), but if the deluxe studio price is doable, you could always book that and keep checking for a value to become available. It will cost a bit more, but you'll probably have more availability in savanna view studios. Value studios are about as rare as hen's teeth for December stays. There are only a few of them, they're snapped up by members the minute the 11-month window opens, and December is the most popular month for DVC bookings. I'm honestly surprised that any are available for cash reservations.

Yea I'm looking under the Canadian Holiday Season Savings discount so it's only $307/nt with that discount. So quite a difference. I'll probably book just the 12-14 and either extend the Caribbean beach part or just get a standard room at AK and keep watching to see if something comes up for the 11. Thanks for all your input everyone!
