I'm not sure if this is a problem with MDE or just my friends :sad2:

We have a DVC reservation next month that includes 3 in my family and 4 in another family. We all have our own AP's. I tried linking their AP's to the reservation and got the error that their tickets are already linked to another account and to call Disney. Disney told me we all needed to "invite" each other through MDE to be linked. We did but somehow my friend can see everyone in my family, I can only see 1 member in theirs.

Plus my friend proceeded to change one of the names on the reservation! Not sure how it happened but his dd's name is gone and his name is there twice. I'm going to call MS tom'w to change this back.

Has anyone else had problems like this?? And what happens to the MB's that have been customized for this family....they are not linked to a ticket right now and I'm hoping that can be done at check in so that they have 1 MB that is used for the room key and park admission.

I consider myself a Disney pro but this whole process has just been frustrating!!

Thanks in advance for any words of encouragement!!

What you need to do is go back to your Family & Friends list and click on 'Add a Guest'. The default option is to select 'From a list of people I may know.' This list show you people who are managed by or connected to Guests on your Family & Friends list. Simply select those you want to add and then click Done. A request will be sent to the person that manages the profile(s)to approve the friend request.

While this is technically correct, it does not always work like it is supposed to. We had my family of 4, and my sister's family of 3 in a 2 bedroom at the VGF. We sent numerous friend requests to each other to try and link our MDE accounts. We could not get it to work as advertised. We finally had to have Disney IT link our accounts, but they proceeded to lose my mother, her ticket, and all of her FP+ reservations in the process.

We eventually got it worked out, but to say that Disney's system is "glitchy" is an understatement.
