Problem with pictures from MNSSHP

I just got my picture that was taken in the mail from the party on 10/14 and guess what.. It was not my family, but "Farmer Mickey".
They enclosed a letter saying that they were sorry it was not up to their standars and such and such... Then they enclosed a letter for a free 5x7. What good is is going to do me now, since we aren't there.. Will they honor the letter in 5 years when we go back?


Has anyone else had this problem? I am just upset as I don't have a picture of us dressed up otherwise.

I'm sorry that has got to be disappointing. I haven't had that problem at WDW, but I have that problem all the time when I go to get my pics developed at Walmart. I don't care if they are a little blurry or dark I want all the pics that I took, but Walmart will take it upon themselves to go through my pics before I even see them and choose what to sell me. Now, when I get them developed I write on the envelope "Do not Discard any pictures". I mean, I bought the film, I took the pictures, now let me decide what I want to keep out of them.

Wow, how disappointing!!!

My guess is that Disney will honor the letter whenever you make it back to the world.

There was probably something wrong with the picture/film. These things happen. I think if the film is ruined there isn't much they can do.

This happened to me at Sears. My DD was 2 and very shy and it was tough enough getting her to pose the first time but now they were telling me I had to pose again because the pictures didn't come out. Bummer. But stuff happens. I went back and got her to pose in 3 shots instead of 6.

I know it stinks but what else can they do?

This happened to me at MVMCP in 2001. They sent a photo of the Castle at night with fireworks. It wasn't a big deal to me because it was just me & my friend but if it had been my family and I dressed up (as lots of folks do for Christmas photo too) I would have been very upset. I did not get a coupon...If I go to a party again I will ask CM to take a photo with my camera and explain why.

Can you get dressed up for Halloween and take a photo?

Thanks for all your help. Emotional wise also. I wish we could all get cressed up again, but half our family was there and they live in California and we are in New York.

But thanks for letting me know that they will most likely honor it at another time...


That also stinks about walmart... Try Sam's they are less expensive and give you all the pictures. I just picked up our from our trip to WDW. I at least have a halloween picture of my Dh and DS2.

We got our photos back last night from the party on the 16th and though they told us they were 5x7s when we took the picture, they all came back as 4x6s. Is that the standard size?
