problem with disneyworld website

Has anyone else had problems with the disneyworld site? I'm trying to book my vacation for May and I have gotten 3 different prices for the exact same thing. Very frustrating!

Not sure if there is something wrong or just slow as anything because of all the "glitz" they have built into it! Maybe they are doing maintenance but I've never found it quick and easy to get around.

I tried today to get to the "Downtown Disney" page and couldn't get past the home page.....very frustrating.

i feel your pain, there will be a lot of people jumpin to the defense of the disney online system but i agree with you. it is like so much other online stuff is a good tool, but i call and talk to a nice cast member when i am ready to book or even if you have any real questions.
they can usually help you,
but another thought is to ask your question here, a lot of very smart disney people on this site with excellent pricing and other info.

There are A LOT of problems with it right now. They are currently updating to remove 2006 pricing and other information as it has caused many of the webpages not to work.

I was also told that their peak at CRO, which is generally January 3rd came two weeks early. They were planning to relax and do many of the updates but it is causing issues with booking, so they are doing it all now.

It is a painful process for everybody!

Yes, I have had issues...I actually booked a trip by calling because I didn't trust the online booking at the time. (This was last week though).

At first I thought my "super, duper, fast computer" had a virus or something, but read some threads here to prove otherwise. I'm guessing they are working out the kinks of their new site.

I'm glad to know it isn't just me! I plan to call and book but I like to look at prices online first and compare the airfare. Do the CM's mind if I have them look up several different options? Thanks for all the help!

I've posted this before. I have been trying for days to access the Disney reservations site to no avail. It freezes up after it tells you to select a resort every time.

I read that Disney will be unveiling a new improved website so that may be why a lot of people are having problems right now ...
