Ive been poking around the boards for weeks - Im just now registering and saying hello! So . . . Hello! We are planning a Disney trip under the tree for my 8y/o DD (will be 9 during trip) and (will be) 4 y/o DS - Cant wait! CBH here we come 12/26/08 - 01/03/08! I have several issues Im hoping to find answers for on the boards:

1. How do we present the gift in a way that makes my kids pass out with delight. Thinking maybe disney phone call or something. Packed back packs - I dont know - Im nornmally a creative person - (eh em - balloons) - but so far nothing is really popping in my head on this one.

2. How do I make my DD's 9th birthday 12/29 super special - thinking super special cake, perhaps gifts of a lifetime treasure hunt, perhaps BBB visit . . .

3. How do I get over the fear that scince this is the busiest week to visit disney we are going to be miserable (I booked without researching dates - dumb) but Im locked in now mostly because Im married to the idea of doing the Christmas surprise but also because airfare has gone up so much and we got a great deal on the tickets.

4. Im going to be in Orlando on business in early December - what can I do on that trip to make the trip later in December easier on us. Im thinking leaving a box of supplies / water and such with the hotel - but Im not sure they will let us do that. (~ 10 days in between trips).

5. I lost 60 pounds last year and the last 20 have been difficult. Im looking to loose them by Decemeber and Im hoping participating in the board will help me remember my goal.

Thats it for now - I look forward to earning my ears! E

We gave our niece a trip to Disney for Christmas. Christmas morning her stocking was filled with Disney crayons, stampers, bracelet just small stuff. She got a backpack with an autograph book, pen (preorderd from Disney) disposable disney camera (walgreens) coloring books etc. Then from great sales at the Disney Store Minnie Mouse clothes in a suitcase. We waited until she opened everything and then told her we were leaving the next day for Disney.
