I have to chime in here. I've had a few bad experiences on WDW busses (but mostly not
. Everyone's situation/need is different. My own situation is that I'd much rather fold and have DS sit. He is capable of easily walking onto the bus, and I'm capable of holding the heavy chair. When I do that, he sits in an "end" seat. I sit next to him, and hold the chair in front of the two of us. So we take two seats and a bit of the isle.
I've gotten comments that I should stand on a crowded bus. But I don't for two reasons (unless I'm not traveling with DS). 1) DS freaks out if a stranger (except maybe a pretty young lady
) sits next to him, especially when he is tired and grumpy at the end of the day and 2) I don't think I could stand and safely hold the chair and support myself. DS isn't capable of holding the chair. Again, each party's need is different, and I believe the majority of folks are choosing the best arrangement for their own capabilities and needs.
